NotifyCore
Track and Monitor Scripts and Jobs with Simple HTTP Requests
Early feedback told me that 7 day trials were too short. Specifically, potential customers were concerned that 7 days wouldn't be enough time for them to run into job failures (that would trigger alerts) or to get an idea of what NotifyCore's logging and reporting capabilities are.
I've been trying to decide between making trials 14 days or adding a free tier. For now, I decided on the longer trial period since I'm not clear on my path to convert free tier customers to paid ones. I plan to experiment with the new trials and address the idea of a free tier in the future.
I've been collecting feedback from early demos, and the request for a way to log and report on job runtimes was loud and clear. This morning I pushed out a new release of NotifyCore which adds support for logging the runtime of jobs right along side the existing functionality of triggering notifications from scripts and cron jobs.
For now, I'm displaying historical job runtimes in an interactive bar chart, but I plan to add more advanced filtering and visual options soon as well.
One challenge so far has been deciding which features to spend time on. I'm hoping as I get more users on the platform, it will become more apparent which ideas have mass appeal.

It's sounds crazy, but this is the first product I've built because of a personal pain point. Using the product daily not only identifies bugs and features, but it's great to be able to demo with "real" data and antidotes.
As with any new product, NotifyCore is far from a state I feel is "ready" but as a daily user I'm able to speak to the fact that it gets the job done despite a backlog that will keep me busy for a while!

After having the backend of NotifyCore working for a few weeks, I finally launched the site to the public! In the time between, I've been using the product myself and getting feedback from friends, but it's nice to have it out there.
My first focus was on functionality. By using NotifyCore myself to send out alerts and notifications from a handful of scripts and jobs I have running, I felt comfortable launching even though the marketing pages and blog are still a little thin.

Developers need a simple and secure way to track and monitor their background jobs. NotifyCore lets you send notifications and track runtimes of your jobs by simply making an HTTP request.
