May 12, 2026 How I went from 0 users to 14 signups in 3 weeks without running a single ad

Quick story about the dumbest distribution mistake I made as a founder.

I spent the first 3 months after launching Novaseed refreshing Reddit manually. Every morning. Like a ritual. Searching for threads where someone might be asking for what I built.

Most days I found nothing. Or I found something but the post was 2 days old and already had 40 comments. Game over.

The thing is, the conversations were always there. Every single day, people post on Reddit, LinkedIn, and X saying things like "what tool do you use for outreach" or "I just launched and have zero users, help." Those are your customers. They are literally asking for you.

You just never see them in time.

So I built Novaseed to fix that for myself. It monitors those platforms, scores each post by how much the person actually sounds like a buyer, and sends the best ones to your inbox with a draft reply already written in your tone.

No auto-posting, no connecting your accounts, nothing sketchy. You just copy the reply and paste it yourself. The platform only ever sees you.

After 3 weeks of using it myself: 14 signups from Reddit alone. One of the early users got 2 paying customers from a single LinkedIn thread. Another cut his daily outreach time from about 3 hours to 20 minutes.

It is not magic. It is just being in the right place at the right time, consistently.

If you want to try it: novaseed.io, free scan, no account needed.

Curious what you all do for early distribution. Cold email? Build in public? Something else entirely?
