I’m a college student and a solo dev who’s been on a bit of a journey trying to crack the code on AI video prompt creation. So, I built something called Novie. It’s not just another app; it’s the little workspace I wished I had when I started tinkering with AI video. Novie helps turn rough ideas into solid prompts in a snap and gives you deep control if you want to dive into the weeds scene-by-scene. There are templates too—because sometimes you just want to get started without spinning your wheels.

This project grew out of many late nights and endless trial-and-error sessions, fueled by pure stubbornness and a bit of love for making creative tools better. I’ve poured what I’ve learned about prompt struggles and what feels intuitive into Novie, hoping it can save others some of the headaches I faced.

It’s completely free right now — no catch, no fine print — just a tool made by a fellow creator who’s been in the trenches.
