The AI assistant that knows you

April 9, 2026 I’m building an AI assistant that knows how I actually communicate

I’m working on null0, a Mac app that helps founders draft replies using their actual communication context.

The problem I kept running into was not “I need AI to write a message.”

It was more like:

- Who is this person again?

- What did we last talk about?

- Is this a Slack reply, an iMessage reply, or an email reply?

- How do I answer without sounding like generic AI?

Most AI writing tools start from a blank prompt. That feels backwards to me.

My communication is already spread across Slack, iMessage, Gmail, Notion, Google Drive, and Calendar. The hard part is not only writing the sentence. It is remembering the context and still sounding like myself.

So I’m building null0.

It learns how you communicate across different platforms, remembers lightweight relationship context, and drafts replies for you to review.

Nothing sends automatically. That part matters a lot to me.

I’m starting with founders because so much founder work happens inside small messages: investor replies, customer follow-ups, team decisions, recruiting, intros, and the dozen loose threads that quietly pile up every day.

I’m opening up early access now and trying to get feedback from people who live in messages all day.

I’d love feedback on two things:

1. Is the positioning reasonable?

2. Would you trust a tool like this if it stayed approval-first and focused on context instead of auto-sending?

About

I’m building null0 because every important reply needs context. Generic AI can write, but it doesn’t know my style or relationships. null0 learns how I communicate.
