Odiolab
Audio transcription service
We implement a new design on our transcription platform, and we remove the requirement for the credit card information to get the free trial. Furthermore, we also add a subscription package: $39/month.
With the subscription package, users can get 8 credits per month. It means the price per file is getting lower than the pay-as-you-go plan.
Today, we launch a new free trial offer. Every new user will get free audio transcription for their first transcription job without any audio duration limitation.
With this new offer, we hope you can determine the quality of the service better than our last free trial offering. Go, claim your free transcription at https://app.odiolab.com/users/sign_up

I applied to AWS Activate last week, and they approved my application 🥳🥳 I'm thinking to use it to make a better free trial package for our new users.
Currently, we are offering 60 seconds duration free trial, and now I'm thinking to give more durations so that new users can determine our quality of service better.

Today, I finish the MVP of the web app and also the landing page, and I launch it. I post on HN and ProductHunt. Let's see how it goes.
I found Indie Hackers from a Telegram group, and I think I should signup and meet other indie hackers too. I love to learn from the community.

I have an unused domain: odiolab.com that I bought at the beginning of 2020. The initial idea why I bought this domain is for providing a productized service for podcast audio mixing. But, I cancel the idea because I feel difficult to get the client.
October 2020, I want to transcribe some of my podcasts, but I'm too lazy to re-listen all my audio files. Then, I found in AWS there's a speech-to-text API that I can use. So, I build a web app with it. It's nice, but the result is not human friendly. Then I create some features to make the result more human friendly and editable.
I believe there must be other people that need this app, so I start building it as SaaS.

We are podcasters need to transcribe our podcast to make it more accessible and improve our podcast web SEO. That's why we build odiolab.com, and we think there must be other people that need it too.
