October 18, 2018 Getting payments

A fundamental part of every business is getting payments from customers to keep the business running. So far my options are limited:

  • No paypal support for Paraguayan accounts: Can still spend money but not get payments
  • No Stripe

An alternative I'm taking a look at is Apple's subscriptions. They take about 30% from the revenue (15% for yearly subscriptions) but at least allows the business to exist. I'll probably start with it and keep evaluating other options. E.g. Opening a company in Estonia

October 18, 2018 About the business model

I'm not sure if a freemium model would be the best for the initial phase, but I'm willing to experiment and learn from it. Perhaps providing a trial would get better leads to take the product in the right direction.

Either way, a subscription model feels like a good fit for this product. But I'm always open to ideas :)

October 18, 2018 The app is public and free

I would love to learn more about how the app can help people who need to organize property information. My initial assumption is that couples or Real Estate agents would benefit from using the app thanks to its team-ready features.
Personally, I use the app with my wife. We distribute tasks to keep enhancing the information about the property we collect. Our goal is to have a handful of good options for our next home and be able to reevaluate fast in case the option we want is not available as expected.
