Olympia
Your Winning AI Team
As a bootstrapped startup, at Olympia, we had to be resourceful from the very beginning (we soft launched in May 2023 and about to hard launch within a few weeks). Traditional, cost-intensive marketing strategies were initially out of reach, prompting us to prioritize creative, free marketing solutions mentioned below.
- Engaging Newsletter
When we opened our beta to public, signups were possible only by invitations. It helped us build a significant email list. We maintained (and still do) a connection with our early adopters and potential users through an informative and compelling newsletter. This gave us a platform to update our community about developments and keep the excitement about Olympia alive.
- Organic Social Media
Platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter became tools to share our story and progress, reaching more interested audiences organically.
- AI Directories
To gain visibility, we added Olympia to AI directories which became a valuable asset in reaching people specifically interested in AI solutions.
- Word-of-Mouth
Our network, including friends and family, served as valuable testers for Olympia. Their honest feedback helped us improve the product and they also became advocates for spreading the word about us.
- Targeted Ads
Despite the limited budget, we realized the significant impact of a few strategically placed ads in AI directories and newsletters, aiding in impressive growth numbers early on.
Balancing our resources against growth ambitions underscored the value of strategic budgeting, planning, and thinking outside the box for marketing strategies. I hope this can be useful to you too.

Thanks for sharing this super helpful and inspiring!
I really liked how you used email, social media, and directories in a smart way without spending a lot. The invite-only newsletter idea was clever.
I’m putting together a Marketing Starter Kit for founders like you who are working with limited resources. especially those who already have a great product but need plug-and-play marketing ideas, templates, and growth loops that actually convert leads.
Wishing you the best with the hard launch, sounds like Olympia is off to a great start!
