Olympus Framework

The best place to start your next Rails SaaS application

January 20, 2021 Olympus is made public!

Starting a project with Olympus means you get to spend more time on what really matters, the product. It can easily save you over 50,000 dollars in development costs for generic features if you're starting your next SaaS company.

I found most of my time as a SaaS developer was adding to various systems like billing, compliance, security, tracking, and others common to every product. I spent a minority of my time building the product features that made those companies special.

When I set out to build Meettrics, I wanted to spend a lot of time on getting those basics right. Billing, product analytics, GDPR compliance, security, and many other little odds and ends are needed to launch a good product. Olympus was extracted from this as a way to standardize my backlog of upcoming side projects to build. It will cut the time to monetize (responsibly) a project by months.

It's in its early stages and still requires you to know some intermediate Ruby scripting knowledge to utilize it effectively. As time goes on, I'll add more to the documentation and feature set as part of each project I work on.

Finally, building products as a team quickly requires a great deal of experience in team management and processes. In addition to the code, I hope to share many of the processes and techniques to not only code by yourself effectively, but in teams as well.

Stay tuned!

About

Olympus was born out of a backlog of side projects I had queued up. It lets you skip the boring parts of monetizing your projects and launch high-quality, production apps in record time.
