In its first avatar, the substack was about curating interesting articles from around the world. I added my key takeaways, why I liked those articles, packaged them into a newsletter, and shared it with people.

I found curation to be extremely time-consuming and I felt the pressure.

I felt that I have enough topics to talk about on my own, for which I have to do little research.

I, therefore, pivoted the substack to sharing lessons from my life, in general.
