Animated GIFs for commercial use
Few days ago I've started to implement premium option for our GIFs and today I got first sale! Does it mean I'm officially an entrepreneur now? I have to admit it's a great feeling ☺️
I need to add premium options for more GIFs (now it's only available for BigMoji Collection). Afterwards I'll focus on marketing which I've neglected recently.
New domain: Cliply.co 🚀
I've decided to change the domain from OneClickClip.com for following reasons:
-cliply.co is shorter
-more modern
-easier to pronounce
-hopefully easier to remember
-sounds and looks better
-still indicates what you can find on it

Nice, "cliply" is cool. Shame it's not the .com but that's probably ok.
Did you redirect (301) all the paths on the old domain through to the new one? Otherwise you might see a big drop in traffic.
Although from what I've seen in the past, even if you do 301 everything properly you'll see a short term drop in traffic anyway (which seems to last several months unfortunately).Best to go with a 302 (short term redirect) at first, then once you're sure everything is working, change it to a 301 (permanent redirect).
By the way: the website takes a long time to load, even on my fibre connection.

Looking for .com domain got me stuck with OneClickClip.com, which I didn't like. *.co is a trade-off for a shorter name.
Yes, I did 301 redirect. Everything seems to work fine. I'm in early stages, so I'm not concerned much about traffic drop.
I prefered to go through rebranding early on. I knew it would be more difficult later.
Page speed is a problem which i need to resolve somehow.

Since yesterday I've had:
-166 upvotes
-980 visitors
-29 subscribers
-140 gif downloads
I still get some traffic so the numbers will hopefully grow a bit more.
I'm very satisfied with the launch. The only thing I'm missing is some feedback. I'm considering emailing subscribers to ask for their opinions, backgrounds and needs. Do you think it's a good idea?-

It's worth communicating with the subscribers in some way, whether it is a personal email, or perhaps a sequence of emails.
