As a SaaS startup based in Berlin, YC has been a dream for our team since Day 1. On our first interview, everything went down to unit economics, how we were going to make money, margins, CAC, LTV etc. Without having too much data to back it up, the 1st interview was pretty tough. On the second round, we had to go to Paris; the 2nd interview was more about the technical aspect of the product and our CTO was ripped apart:-). A month or so later, we got the acceptance call and moved to Silicone Valley beginning of January 2020 to start the program!
