We've acquired a lot of users from our MVP but only 15%-20% converted and we got $1000 revenue from that. We're still figuring out how to convert more users. We're working on our alpha website that will replace our MVP. We're continuously marketing the product in Search ads and online communities. But we think we can do more. Any suggestions on converting more users?

Did some research and user studies to identify our market for this product. Once we had some insights, we tapped our own networks and other channels the market is mostly present on and promoted the product.

We got our first paying customer when we did our user studies in one of the Cannabis Stores we visited. We found out that all employees in the Cannabis Industry required background check.

1. Started with partnering with the 3rd party provider / police (provides the RCMP reports)
2. Created a wireframe for the landing page

4. Activated the payment gateway (via Stripe)

Our team came up with ONTAB Verify when one of our colleagues experienced a hard time in acquiring a criminal background check at the police station. He had to go to the police station and waited for 2 weeks for the results. Our solution is to make this service online - faster and more convenient.
