ONTrac
Life Goal Management Platform
After several rounds of reviews by the Apple App Store, we finally got our app approved for pre-order! We got dinged a few times be cause we offered a place for a promo code which they rejected.
You can check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1516315709. Making it available for pre-order on the app store, our goal is to get some early ASO data and learnings. We'd also like to get some early traction as well. Let us know what you think!
Today, we launched OnTrac on Indiehackers. We're about 8 weeks out from the launch of the beta version of OnTrac so we're looking to increase the visibility of the product so that we can start to begin building traction. We also recently launched our "Ship" page on Product Hunt.

This was accomplished primarily doing Facebook/Instagram ads. This was particularly informative because during this process, I tested about 20+ different audiences on Facebook. The conversion rate for different audiences provided insights into who our target demographic was.

As I mentioned earlier, I had a start up that failed a few years ago. I had worked on it for the better part of a decade, and I had come to define myself by it in some ways. When it failed, I experienced a period of depression. With a short time after this, my father who I hadn't spoken to in over a decade passed away before I could see him. These two incidents in close succession really forced me to become really introspective. To recenter myself, I committed on focusing on my own happiness. As a result, I set some important life goals for myself: pay off my debt, eat healthier, exercise more, drink more water, and spend more time with my family. I looked for a mobile app to help support my efforts, and what I found was most of the existing solutions came up short in a couple of areas: they had a lot of manual progress tracking, and they didn't provide an actionable plan to achieve the goal. OnTrac is that app I couldn't find.
