We have launched the site, even though there were a few bits and pieces missing, but we pushed small updates during the next days and weeks.

We were and still are most grateful and honoured that 30 talents have helped us make this come alive — such a difference to this project and we know now that people value it.

Open Foundry features to each font a unique type specimen that is hand drawn by an artist.

I emailed about 34 designers from around the world, explained what open-foundry is and 30 of them got instantly back and jumped on board with a contribution.
