Ops Ops newsletter
Lean Six Sigma for the internet
Whoop whoop the first 10 subs are in the bag! I posted the article in various forums related to my niche. I got 90 views and 10 subs which I think is a decent conversion rate. Next stop is 100, let's see how quickly that'll happen. Next article is coming in 6 days
I've decided to publish on a weekly schedule (every Tuesday). It's tough but I also have a handful of drafts already and I'm confident that I'll manage. The field is both wide but fairly niche (all considered) so finding things to write about wasn't that hard.
Anyway first post is out! It's a 30,000 feet view of what ops actually does. Link: https://opsops.substack.com/p/coming-soon

I switched to an ops role early last year. Already back then I wanted to write about what ops does (organising a business behind the scenes) and how (lots of processes, documentation, tools, integrations) but couldn't quite commit. I want to try it again, so here goes!

I work in ops and it's one of the most exciting yet underrated jobs at any tech company. I write the newsletter to both increase my own understanding of the job and find other folks working on it.
