I’ve always sold things online from time to time templates, digital tools, one ppppoff products. And every single time, I had to Google around, check marketplaces, and second-guess what a fair price would be.
So I built Optimus Price, a small tool that takes the guessing out of pricing. You type in what you're selling, choose a category, and it returns a price suggestion based on trend data, demand signals, and competitive averages.
The idea isn't just to help individual sellers it’s designed to be integrated directly into marketplaces and platforms. Think of it as a “smart pricing assistant” that platforms can offer to their users via widget or API.
It's built entirely in Replit and includes an embeddable widget, REST API, admin panel, and full documentation. I packaged it all for sale if anyone’s looking for a plug-and-play SaaS to license, integrate, or scale.

Thanks for the great question! Optimus Price is built with a modular architecture designed to handle both external API integrations and internal market signal analysis.
Right now, the public version runs on simulated data modeled on real-world pricing behaviors. The system is already prepared to connect with APIs like Google Trends (via pytrends) and Etsy the logic is in place, but live connections aren't enabled yet.
What really sets it apart is the weighting algorithm behind the scenes. Even with partial or limited data, it can generate consistent and reasonable price suggestions by adjusting to the behavior patterns of each product category.
