OrgaNice
Org chart app for Slack heavy teams
In the latest update we finally fixed the mess we had with our trial plan.
OrgaNice started as the bot that builds Org Chart for Slack.
As the tool had only one feature, we initially built our trial plan around it. Within the first 14 days, users could create and update their org chart data in Slack and the web.
Later, we introduced features like time-off management, available only for paid users.
Now, we decided to fix it and enable all existing features in the trial so it would be easier for users to see if OrgaNice brings enough value to upgrade to paid plans.
We saw that we are receiving a lot of sign-ups from smaller companies; for them, features like birthday reminders and time off teaching might be even more critical than the org chart, so to support growing startups, we decided to introduce the Free plan, which works for organizations with less than 36 people π.
The new plans info is available here - https://www.organice.app/pricing
Starting today, OrgaNice is able to help your team to celebrate the anniversaries and birth dates of your colleagues.
Also, now it is possible to request and manage π
PTO (vacations, sick days and etc.) right in Slack with the help of the bot

Our team continues working on the product.
Last month we concentrated a lot on fixing bugs and making the data-collecting experience even better.
Also, we released a refer-a-friend feature; now, employees can refer people they know for the company's open positions.
And as a bonus: our app became featured in the "Working from Home" directory by Slack - https://slack.com/apps/category/AtVCT88N5T-working-from-home

This will be a very short update. Less than 2 weeks ago, we soft-launched our product. We published it in the Slack store without any additional promotions. We wanted to get the first few companies to start using the product, so we could later talk to them and understand what needs to be improved before the public launch.
But from the very beginning, the product started to get some search traffic in the store, I think we chose the right product description https://slack.com/apps/search?q=org+chart, and we got much more users than we expected. And last week, we got the first paying subscription π€©
Thank you,
Slack Marketplace
Hi, there!
This is my first short post about the soft launch of my new product - OrgaNice. I'm building OrgaNice as a portfolio product of my product studio - https://upsilonit.com/.
We decided not to pursue marketing before we are sure that we can provide support on a great level and that the product works without significant bugs.
OrgaNice is a Slack-native app, so we only started from the Slack marketplace. Here is the link to the product - https://slack.com/apps/A043Y3T5X2R-organice.
Our team tried to optimize the product description, so the folks looking for org-chart bots will land on our product page in the marketplace.
Our next goal is to mention OrgaNice in a newsletter for users of our other Slack products.
Subscribe to this page to stay tuned for how we grow the product.

I got tired of trying to keep the org chart of my company up to date; I saw my clients have the same problem. This is how OrgaNice appeared.
