July 12, 2026 I got tired of personality tests that don't tell you what to do

For years I've been fascinated by a simple problem:

Millions of people know they want "something else", but they don't know what that something is.

Personality tests usually end with labels like "Architect" or "Commander". They're interesting, but after five minutes you're left wondering:

Now what?

I wanted to build something different.

Orivon tries to map how you think, make decisions and create value, then turns that into concrete career directions, business ideas and practical next steps.

It's still an MVP, and I'm sure there are many things that can be improved.

I'd genuinely love honest feedback on:

  • Is the landing page clear?

  • Does the assessment feel engaging?

  • Would you trust the recommendations?

  • What would make you actually pay for it?

I like the shift from describing people to helping them make decisions.

The real test, though, is whether someone would make a meaningful career choice because of the recommendation—not just find the assessment interesting.

Thanks! That's exactly the question I'm trying to answer.

My goal isn't just to generate interesting personality reports, but to reduce uncertainty when people face major career or business decisions.

I'm already thinking about evolving the final report into multiple decision paths (highest compatibility, fastest execution, highest long-term potential) so the recommendations become actionable rather than descriptive.

I'd love to hear what would make you trust a recommendation enough to actually act on it.

        That's a thoughtful question.

I don't think I'd answer it with a universal rule because what earns trust depends on the kind of decisions your product is trying to support.

I have a perspective that's specific to the direction you're taking. If you're interested, what's the best email to reach you on?

          Thanks, I'd really appreciate that.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts

            Appreciate it.

I'd rather send you a proper write-up than break it across Product Hunt comments.

If you have an email you're comfortable sharing, that's the easiest way for me to send it.

I built Orivon because I spent years watching talented people struggle to answer one simple question: "What should I actually do?
