Hey everyone, I built an AI tool called Orrin: It is an AI tool that reads your Slack and Linear, and answers your team questions with proof.

The idea came from a real problem. When a team uses Slack and Linear, information gets scattered across channels and tickets. You end up digging through tabs just to answer one simple question, like what is blocking a task or what changed this week.
Orrin connects to your Slack and Linear and lets you just ask. You get one clear answer with sources, instead of searching everything yourself.
How to use Orrin
Sign in with Google, then connect Slack or Linear
In Slack, invite the bot to your channel by typing "/invite @Orrin" (this step is required, Orrin can only read channels it has been added to)
Linear does not need this step, it works right after you connect
Ask any question and get one clear answer with sources
It is an early MVP, so it may be a bit rough in places.

The problem is sharp. Every team I talk to has that "which tab had that info?" moment. Love the Slack + Linear combo (kills two sources of chaos). One thing: for mid-stage teams nervous about bot access, mention your data handling / security model in the onboarding. Would unlock more sign-ups. What's your biggest blocker right now: adoption or product?"
