ostatn.io
Simple app to track any events in your life
In the new version, I fix small bugs and performance issues. But the major thing is a new feature - share with someone. It's major for me because now I can easily share my home duties with my wife. Now it's easy to check when You cleaned floor last time, and who did it.
But from a technical perspective, I have doubts was firebase was a good choice for the database. Right now I don't have the backend and everything is happening on the frontend side. Now I have to option. Create backend with fancy API or move what I can to firebase's functions. I don't have a lot of users so the first options are not a big deal. But it could in the future.
But right now I really enjoy in the new feature, its available on android and ios now
I still don't know how to get users but I created landing page https://ostatn.io Probably with more screenshots will be easier for users. But right now I used some images from https://undraw.co/ and one screenshot from my app. Maybe I should describe a few usecases?

It looks good! You might want to also talk about how the user data is secured? Also the navbar hamburger doesn't do anything for mobile chrome.

Thanks for your comment. You right, secure could be an important topic, especially users store private data. Thanks! Also, the hamburger is fixed (hidden but it's mean same in this case)

They reject my app because I have a sign in by google but not by apple. So I remove a social sign in only to be accepted by apple. It was a good decision, they accepted me. After 2 days. They work faster than google. I also have some notification about webview. As I know I have to switch from cordova to capacitor.

It's really easy to create android version when you already created PWA. Ionic is super easy to use. But google play form is not. There are a lot of options which you have to fill before they accept app. Also, I waited for 4 days before it happened. Good news. I don't need to wait to update version

I don't know how to call it. Beta? MVP? When to stop with MVP? It's really easy to add something more? One more feature, one more fix. But there aren't users there. How to find them? I create app for myself but its really nice to see when someone else uses it.
My daughter said it's not a app when it's not in app store. How to find it, how to install it? So next step is to create android and ios version

Instead of creating backend or store something locally I can easy use firebase to do this. They have basically everything to do PWA or mobile app. And it easy to use with ionic and angular.
But during the time my MVP list was grown to something bigger.

Create app when I easy store and check e.g
- when I washed my car
- when I cut my hair
- when I was in the cinema
In MVP is nice to have some statistics (how often I did it, or when was last time) and store everything locally. Maybe some backend will be written in ruby.

I wrote this app as an MVP for me and my family. My first idea was built only PWA version but my daughter laughed me, "it's not an app if it's not in AppStore". So then I also added android and ios version
