Otoq

AI customer agent that trains on your website in 5 minutes

February 17, 2026 🚀 Just launched Otoq — AI customer agent for SMBs

Hey IH!

I'm Ciano, building Otoq - an AI agent that trains on your website and answers customer questions 24/7.

💡 The insight: 70% of customer questions are repetitive (sizing, shipping, returns, "how does this work?"). Most businesses can't afford 24/7 support. Chatbots with decision trees frustrate more than they help.

📊 Where I'm at:

- Live on Product Hunt and G2
- Tech: Next.js, Supabase, OpenAI, RAG pipeline
- Targeting e-commerce and real estate initially

🔧 What's working:
- 5-minute setup is a real differentiator
- E-commerce stores love auto-learning from product catalogs
- Free tier is driving initial adoption

Would love to connect with other founders building AI products or targeting SMBs. Happy to share more details!

Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?

      Thanks!

Keeping it simple for now, free tier (50 convos/mo) so people can just try it with zero commitment. The "paste your URL and watch the AI answer questions about your store" moment sells itself better than any pitch.

Distribution-wise, mostly hanging out in communities like this, r/shopify, r/SaaS - being helpful first, mentioning Otoq when it's relevant. Targeting Shopify store owners specifically since the pain point is super clear (customers ask questions after hours, nobody's there, they leave).

For feedback, I just watch the actual conversations in the dashboard. When the AI gets something wrong or someone drops off, that's the best signal. Way more useful than surveys.

What about you - have you launched something? Curious what's worked on your end.

Love that, especially using real conversations as feedback instead of surveys. That’s smart.

Reddit can definitely work for this, but most founders leave a lot on the table just “being helpful.” The real wins usually come from spotting high-intent threads and answering them in a way that quietly drives curiosity and clicks.

I’ve been helping a few SaaS founders do exactly that. If you’d like, I can share a couple of specific thread types I’d go after for Otoq.

About

Small businesses lose customers to slow response times, not bad products. I built Otoq so any business can have an AI agent that learns their site and answers customers 24/7. No scripts, real AI.
