Ourbackyard

Holy Cow! I did not expect that. :) Seems like there is definite interest in the basic premise of Ourbackyard.co.za

With this validation, I am moving onto the next phase of development of the product while at the same time adding small improvements to the existing pages.

Also going to continue doing social media marketing, improving SEO and casting the net a little wider to see what I can catch :) So exciting.

So the first couple of hours is over now :) Just post-launch I realized that the signup forms are broken :/ How did I miss that? I have no idea :( Jumped in and worked till 23:00. Pushed out the fixes and all is good.

Woke up this morning to two user signups \o/ Now that I know everything works :) I am about to boost a post on social media. Exciting!!

I have added the last pieces of the initial puzzle, made sure all the things are running, made a social media announcement. Need to spread the word some more but, it is out there now.

Let's see if this thing has got legs :) https://ourbackyard.co.za

About to push out the announcement about the site to social media. This is to gauge interest amongst businesses and people🤞

There are a couple of finishing touches still needed but, it is set to go today. Super excited and also scared. To be honest, more scared that it gains traction :)
