May 8, 2026 How did you get your first 10 customers when your audience isn't on LinkedIn or X?

Solo founder here. Just launched a video testimonial / reputation tool for local businesses (salons, restaurants, gyms, cafes, dental practices, that kind of thing). Product is live.
The wall I keep hitting: my ICP doesn't live where founders typically hang out. Salon owners aren't on X scrolling SaaS launches. Restaurant owners aren't on LinkedIn engaging with thought leadership. Dentists aren't on IH.
They're behind the counter, in the chair, on the floor. Phone gets checked between clients, not over coffee at a desk.
What I've tried so far and why each is hard:
1. Affiliate outreach to creators who teach local businesses. The creators who actually serve this audience are themselves hard to find. Most "salon business" influencers I dig into turn out to be aesthetic content for consumers, not operators. Going slow.
2. Cold outreach to multi-location operators and agencies. Reply rates are brutal because these people are time-poor and skeptical of cold pitches.
3. Content (blog, social posts). Launched but with zero customers, I have no signal on whether any of it is moving the needle. Slow burn at best.
The standard SaaS playbook (LinkedIn build-in-public, X threads, ProductHunt, SaaS communities) all assumes the customer is a tech person on the internet. Mine isn't.
For founders here who built B2B SaaS for non-tech, non-online audiences, trades, hospitality, beauty, healthcare, blue-collar industries,
how did you get your first 10?
What channel actually worked when the obvious ones didn't apply?
Not looking for "do content marketing" advice. Looking for the specific tactic that broke through when the standard SaaS GTM playbook didn't fit your audience. Happy to share more context in comments if useful. And if you've solved this for a different non-tech vertical, would love to hear the analog.

One unfair 1-star review can quietly drain a good business for months. Outhentik exists so the owner sees every review first, not last. Real businesses deserve a fair shot at their reputation.
