From the Mountains to the Web: Why I Rejected privacy less websites.

My name is NIKHIL KUMAR I am a solo developer based in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh (India). Living in the mountains ("Pahad") teaches you one thing: efficiency is everything. You don't waste resources.

A few months ago, I needed to quickly edit an image. I was shocked to find that most "simple" online tools were either 10MB+ React apps that took forever to load on my connection, or they forced me to upload my private data to a server just to perform a simple crop.

I realized that modern web development had lost its way. We were shipping massive frameworks for simple problems.

So, I built Pahadify with a strict set of rules:

1. No Frameworks: I went back to Vanilla JavaScript.

2. No Servers: Everything must happen on the client-side (Privacy First).

3. No Bloat: The final bundle had to be tiny.

The result is Pahadify. It’s a 1.5MB Progressive Web App (PWA) that brings desktop-class image editing to the browser without stealing your data.

I built this to prove that world-class, privacy-focused technology doesn't have to come from Silicon Valley or Bangalore. It can come from a small room in Chamba.

I am currently learning about SEO and marketing (the hard part!) while continuing to optimize the engine.
