October 31, 2020 Sold PanelScout

Last week I sold PanelScout to a private buyer. I don't believe I had the time necessary to help the site get significant traction, and other ideas at this point have started proving a better investment.

I'm not sure of the new buyers intentions with the site, but hopefully they can dedicate more time to this idea.

Hi, may i know what was the reason that you sell and how did the buyer initially represent himself?

    Congrats btw!

June 12, 2020 Launched on ProductHunt

PanelScout launched on ProductHunt earlier today after being hunted by Chris Messina. You can check it out at https://www.producthunt.com/posts/panelscout!

It's done pretty well so far, with quite a few people signing up for accounts which is promising.

May 13, 2020 PanelScout relaunch

After having a bit of free time after a very hectic April, I decided to sit down and dedicate some time back to PanelScout. The break from working on it has given me some time to have a rethink, and I have completely redesigned the site to make it cleaner, and added a ton of functionality.

I am much happier with the way the site looks now, and have decided to offer a discounted yearly plan for a limited time while I launch the product properly in the coming couple of weeks.

March 20, 2020 Redesigned and improved PanelScout!

To improve on the PanelScout MVP, I built an introduction video using biteable, and rearranged the landing page and key points according to the feedback from @olly at roast my landing page.

I also added a monthly subscription and a 10 day free trial.

Going forward I'm going to run some google ads to get some traffic, and see what I can get conversion wise before making any adjustments.

About

I build sites freelance occasionally for clients. A common issue is trying to understand what the client wants exactly, and the design preferences the client has. PanelScout helps people like me define the project scope.
