July 17, 2019 Project Shutdown

A month or so ago, we shut down Paperclip. There was certainly an interest in the project, as a transparent analytics alternative, but we realised that there were simply too many and too big competitors, so we decided to work on some other things instead.       I appreciate that some people liked the service, and I'm open to possibly rebooting it if I can find time, but there didn't seem to be much of a future with it, especially if only a few people used it. tbh, it was no match for HotJar or Google Analytics.

      Paperclip was free, if I'm not mistaken, so there shouldn't be any expectation of service.

A few of my friends volunteered to be my marketing department, and found me a bunch of websites to contact. I also posted it on reddit a bit.

The initial version was basic, apparently looked terrible, and didn't show much data. But because we're so open to feedback, we now have a 4.5/5 star review by POST news.

We built Paperclip because managing multiple AI agents across different tools was a nightmare. As developers building AI-powered features, we kept needing a way to orchestrate agents, manage their state, and handle failu
