PaperDock
Helping US freelancers look professional & get paid faster
Just watched my first trial users actively using the SaaS… and holy crap, the feeling is unreal!!! 🥳🤯 That moment when real people start clicking around something you built pure magic. Thank you to everyone who’s jumping in early. This is why we do it, founders. ❤️ #IndieHackers #BuildInPublic
It’s been a few days since I shared PaperDock here and with a few freelancers outside Indie Hackers Platform.
Even though it’s still very early, a few patterns are already clear:
• Freelancers care less about “features” and more about looking professional to US clients
• Clear contracts + invoices reduce anxiety more than fancy dashboards
• People really value reminders and follow-ups that don’t feel awkward
• Simplicity > customization (especially for solo freelancers)
One thing I underestimated was how important confidence is —
confidence that clients received documents, viewed them, and won’t need chasing.
Next focus areas for me:
– improving onboarding clarity
– making document flows even simpler
– polishing small UX details that reduce friction
If you’re a freelancer (or building for freelancers), I’d genuinely love to hear:
👉 what’s the most stressful part of dealing with clients?
Still building, still learning.

seeing the first visitors roll in thanks to everyone checking it out. Still very early and open to feedback from freelancers.

I just launched PaperDock, a small SaaS for freelancers working with US clients.
I built it because I was tired of juggling contracts, invoices, reminders, and client follow-ups across tools and email. PaperDock brings contracts, invoices, signatures, audit trails, and client activity tracking into one place so freelance admin feels calmer and more professional.
It’s very early, but I’m offering a 30-day free trial with full access (no credit card) to get honest feedback from real freelancers.
I’d love thoughts on:
– what feels confusing
– what’s missing
– what you’d expect before paying
If you freelance or have built something similar, I’d really appreciate your feedback 🙏
