Stop Worrying - Raise AI-Responsible Kids
Hey Indie Hackers,
I've built Parents2AI, a simple, research-backed system that helps parents teach their kids to use AI responsibly.
Why this?
Because kids are adopting AI faster than parents can understand it.
Schools aren’t teaching it.
Most parents feel unprepared, overwhelmed, or completely out of the loop.
I started seeing this gap everywhere:
– Kids using AI to finish homework they didn’t understand
– Parents confused about what “safe AI use” even means
– Schools banning tools instead of teaching them
– Families fighting about screen time, not understanding time
So I built a 4-step guide that helps parents raise tech-wise, responsible kids:
Clear AI rules at home
Simple conversations that work
Healthy boundaries without fear
Tools for curiosity (not shortcuts)
I launched the main guide this week.
It’s early. Lots to learn. But the response from parents so far tells me this problem is real and growing.
My plan over the next few weeks:
Tighten the product based on real parent feedback
Publish usable, free mini-guides
Start partnerships with parenting creators
Build a community around “tech-wise parenting”
If you're a parent, builder, educator, or just curious about this space, I’d love your feedback.
How do you see AI affecting kids today?
What would you want in a resource like this?
Happy to share my process as I go.
