Parlor
All-in-one product feedback and user discovery platform.
Hooray! We launched on Product Hunt and received enough up votes to stay in the top 10 throughout the day. This lead to a number of signups and demos of Parlor.
Collaboration Groups allow companies to segment users into cohorts by whichever parameters matter most. For some companies that’s lifetime value, for others it’s engagement. Starting today, Parlor lets you create curated digital focus group experiences for every kind of user. You can now ask the right questions and get actionable feedback from everyone from beta testers and power users to investors and board members. When it comes to feedback, one size does not fit all.
With the completion of Collaboration Groups, we’ve now successfully built a platform that is modular and flexible enough to address the needs of a substantial range of potential customers, from individual freelancers and content creators, all the way up to mature enterprise customers.

Our Republic crowdfunding campaign closed on August 1st having raised $144,222 from 260 investors! It's incredibly motivating to have so much support from the community.

Republic was was a great fit for us. We were able to raise funds in a predictable timeframe and it was more scalable than the VC meetings we were having in parallel. We loved the exposure we got during the campaign and the actionable feedback and advice from our potential investors.
*note: we were forced to change our name later in the year, oops!

Before starting Parlor we worked at a bootstrapped education startup called Firecracker. We spent the summer of 2015 completely overhauling the product experience. It was intense but we quickly discovered how well we worked together. Startups are hard (especially the first one) but we’ve found everything is a little easier with a cohesive team.

About
Parlor began as an internal tool my co-founders and I built at our last company to keep our product & customer teams from hating each other. It was so successful at uniting them around user feedback, that we went all in!
