Parthenon
A SaaS/web app starter kit for Symfony
A super minor update but I thought it would be cool to keep a log on here of all the releases and updates.
Released version 2.1 which is a rather small update compared to some previous updates and what is planned for version 2.2. 2.1 is meant to be the release that makes the pivot to having a really powerful billing system actually feasible.
The main feature is the data export system which is super important for people wanting to export their data. And there were a few minor features.
Now I'm getting started on the pivot towards supporting advance billing requirements. First step is to build a payment abstraction library that will allow for integrations with multiple payment providers. My starting list is:
- Adyen
- Authorize.net
- Stripe
- Paddle
With Transaction.Cloud being a solid maybe.
After working on Parthenon for several years, I've made the move to make it free for people generating less than $5,000 USD a month. This will help indie hackers and hobbyists get a solid foundation while making it so that companies who can afford to pay - pay.

Version 1.2.0 released which included the MongoDB skeleton application so people can now start their new projects using MongoDB or Postgres using the prebuild skeleton applications.
There was also a major refactor to create the Subscriptions module which previously was a Plan module and Subscription logic within the Payments module.

Went full time focusing on Parthenon.
Release version 1.1
Included
- Multi-Tenancy support for separate databases
- Bug fixes
- User commands
Hopefully, this will allow me to make Parthenon what I dream it will be. Something that companies of all sizes can use to build their applications.

After a year of working on side applications to allow Parthenon to support multiple Databases, multiple email service providers and provide a strong baseline I've release the MVP.
Now it's time to see how the marketing all goes together and start trying to get customers.
