Partizion
Tab and Session Manager
Well, it's been over a year since I launched Partizion. In that time I built and rebuilt the chrome extension, restructured and rewrote it once again, built a web app and server, and launched over 25 iterations! Most of this has been full time work. IndieHacking is hard.
I've felt unmotivated countless times over the past year and really was just worried that my efforts were drops in an ocean. What this year of IndieHacking has taught me is that life is a roller coaster. You'll never plateau and be in a good spot forever, and if you hit rock bottom it just means you're in a perfect position to rebuild.
More importantly, I've had a bunch of huge milestones and mini-accomplishments over the past year too. Partizion is backed by amazing customers - doing $1k MRR on a chrome extension was said to be impossible.
Here's to the next year!
It has been a long haul but after doubling down on Partizion, the hard work is paying off. Many more users are now becoming DAUs and I finally got the first paying user (who wasn't a family member).
With more updates coming, better onboarding, and consistent user outreach I feel confident that the next paying users are just around the corner!

After publishing some short form content on IndieHackers and reddit I gained a small amount of traffic and have since broke 100 users on the chrome store. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/partizion/ldimfpkkjopddckaglpeakpaepclcljn
Now on to 1000! 😀

Recently I designed a custom changelog for Partizion so I that I can showcase all of the new features, improvements, and bug fixes. It is self hosted so that I can control all of the aspects of the changelog and better serve customers.

A couple months ago I decided to launch partizion early. It wasn't anywhere near the condition I wanted it to be in. Since then I have gathered so much helpful user feedback and I am so glad I launched early! Now I've finally launched what I would have thought was the bare minimum for a beta product.
Lots more to come!

After discussing the product and posting our landing page on some feedback forums two we received some positive feedback and two people signed up for our beta.
We're looking to continue this conversation and widen our outreach so that we can speak with more potential customers.

Published the beta website for Partizion so that early adopters and enthusiasts who are interested can signup to be reminded when the product is ready. Created a simple email automation so that subscribers are greeted.

About
Work is moving to the browser. Teams and tools work in the browser and managing all of your tabs has become cumbersome. Partizion is the simple console to manage, save, switch between, and reopen tabs.
