50 production-ready skills for Claude Code — drop in, ship
Hey IH 👋
I just shipped Patternly: 50 curated, production-grade skills for Claude Code. Drop them into your .claude/skills/ folder and Claude defaults to the senior-dev pattern instead of the generic one.
THE PROBLEM I WAS HITTING
Claude Code is incredible, but its output drifts toward the patterns it has seen most. Without context, it generates code that "works" but skips:
- Route::apiResource (uses Route::resource instead → 404 on JSON)
- whenLoaded() in API Resources (silent N+1 in production)
- Stripe webhook signature verification
- Auth and rate limiting on Next.js Server Actions
- Docker healthchecks and dependency conditions
- Pest test pinning (installs Pest 4 on Laravel 11 → conflict)
None of these are Claude bugs. They're patterns the model has seen less of, or that drift over time. Patternly fixes that by encoding the "what would a senior dev write here" pattern as a SKILL.md file Claude reads automatically.
WHAT'S INSIDE
50 skills + 4 slash commands across 8 categories:
- Laravel / PHP (6)
- Next.js / React (7)
- n8n / Automation (6)
- Docker / Proxmox / DevOps (6)
- Debugging (6)
- Code Review (5)
- Testing (5)
- DevOps / Database (5)
- Slash commands: /ship, /review, /refactor, /document
Each skill: frontmatter optimized for Claude's auto-invocation + requirements + when-to-use + core principles + production-ready code blocks + common mistakes + validation checklist + cross-links.
QA: 22 bugs fixed during sandbox validation (Next.js typecheck, Laravel Pest run, n8n JS snippets, Postgres queries, Redis commands). Real runtime testing, not just "looks good".
HOW IT'S DIFFERENT FROM FREE LISTS
There are 6000+ Claude skills indexed across marketplaces (claudemarketplaces.com, etc.). Most are either:
1. Personal patterns of a single author (specific to their stack)
2. AI-generated bulk without review
3. Generic high-level templates
Patternly is the senior-dev curation bar: each pattern is what 5+ years of experience would write, not what's average.
PRICING & DELIVERY
$19 one-time. 12 months of updates included. Commercial license (use in unlimited client projects). No refunds — instant access via private GitHub repo (you message me your GitHub username, I invite you within hours).
WHAT I'D LOVE FROM YOU
- Is the value prop clear from the landing page? (https://patternlyskills.gumroad.com/l/patternlyskills)
- $19 — overpriced, underpriced, fair?
- What category am I missing that you'd want covered?
- Any obvious flaws in the pitch?
Brutal honesty welcome.
