Pawsyly
Pet sitting and pet care management software
Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I’m a solo developer working on Pawsyly, a pet sitting and pet care management app built specifically for small pet care businesses.
The idea came from repeatedly seeing pet sitters rely on a mix of spreadsheets, text messages, calendars, and generic tools that don’t really fit how their work actually flows. Booking details, pet info, schedules, and important dates often end up scattered across different places, which leads to extra admin work and occasional mistakes.
Pawsyly is my attempt to simplify that. It focuses on the core workflows pet sitters need — managing clients, pets, schedules, and key dates — in one straightforward, affordable system, without the complexity of enterprise software.
I’m still early and actively iterating. I’d especially love feedback from:
People building niche SaaS products
Anyone who’s validated vertical SaaS ideas
Pet sitters or small service business owners
If you’re curious or have thoughts on positioning, features, or early traction strategies, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks for reading 🙏
About
I’m working on Pawsyly because I kept seeing pet sitters struggle with scattered tools and manual processes that waste time and cause mistakes.

Nice to see you launching something new. Early excitement is contagious. I’ve been there, wanting to get something out quickly but realizing early feedback beats long build times. It took me months to learn that myself, wasting on features no one asked for.
Before doubling down on features, chat with potential users. Focus on one core problem and nail that first. Don’t sweat perfection early on; just usability. Keep early users close; their feedback is gold. Track which features get actual use versus what’s just nice to have.
What’s the one thing you hope to learn from this launch?
WOW! I appreciate so much you took the time to share that with me. That was exactly what I was doing, I will change direction because for your advice. Thank you.
