PayLor.Me
Personalised Payment via Stripe
Hit very huge milestone with $10,000 transacted monetary value. I didn't expect to hit this after 1 month. Not only that, users gave me very good feedback regarding my UI/UX and additional functionalities that could help elevate PayLor.Me to the next level.
Lets not wait....
PayLor.me now allows you to create, manage and sell subscriptions easily. Let your customer choose the plan they want and we will handle the rest.
Take a look at a live example https://www.paylor.me/cedricloy/subscription_plans

After some feedbacks, PayLor.Me now allow users to set the default currency type for their personalised payment page. e.g. https://www.paylor.me/cedricloy/5sgd.
Thinking of building the following features
- Allow users to create their own subscriptions
- Allow user to create simple products for 1 time purchase
- Allow users to transfer money via the connected accounts on my platform.
What do you guys think?

Realised that the Registration flow is too tedious and that may have affected the user sign up rate.
Instead, used Stripe for instant omniauth sign up which automatically creates the user personalised page via Stripe data. Fixed Stripe refund not working via the Stripe connect Flow.
Hehe, another 3 transactions performed today. On route to break even in a few days if everything goes as plan.

Fixed some bugs, a few customers performed transactions. Got feedback from customers talking about transferring money between 2 stripe connected accounts and some good feedbacks on how to improve the UI for credit card inputs. Will work on this for this week.
Might upgrade whole platform to ReactJS
I can see the small candle light at the end of the tunnel.

Good luck. Incredible idea. Is there an app store app yet? Also, do you currently have or plan to have a public API? This will be a great integration for our invoicing feature at Tapdesk CRM.

Hey buddy, thanks for the compliment. I don't have an mobile app for it and no plan for a public API yet as I want to focus more on the internal features first. Let me know what kind of integration are u looking for so that I can maybe work on some part of it down the line.

It took 1 week, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for PayLor.Me.
I worked mostly nights, and I coded the whole thing in Ruby on Rails since that's that I'm the most comfortable with. In hindsight, there were a few features I built that probably could've waited until later.
Will need prepare the resources for posting on producthunt

Customer wants to pay me via his credit card. Use Paypal.me but customer does not have paypal account.
Creatre PayLor.me which is similar to Paypay but it does not requires Customer to have Stripe account, just a valid credit card will do.
Customer pay, I happy. Took me less than a week to get this up. Maybe some people will find it useful. Some will not.

As an alternative to Paypal.me. The problem with Paypal.me is that it requires payers to login via their paypal account in order to pay. For PayLor.Me, its easier cause all they need is their credit card.
