InvoiceWatchr Launch
Hey guys 👋 I built invoiceWatchr so that you don't have to send "just following up on this invoice" emails over and over.
invoiceWatchr automates the whole sequence, a friendly reminder on the due date, a firm follow-up a few days later, and a final notice after that. You set it up once per invoice, and it handles the rest. When the client pays, you mark it paid and the emails stop immediately.
It's $4.99/month, built for freelancers and consultants who bill regularly and hate chasing. I'd love to hear what you think — happy to answer any questions below.
About
Instead of manually writing followups about past due invoices, I made invoiceWatchr to automate the hassle

I had the same creative-work-to-debt-collector switch with client projects, invoice #1 wasnt the hard part, reminder 2 was. I started with Stripe reminders and a sheet, now I'm building ChaseFlow around that chasing layer too, imo the "emails stop when paid" piece is the bit freelancers actually care about.
It’s such a draining part of being a freelancer when you have to switch from "creative expert" to "debt collector" just to get paid for work you've already finished. Most people don't realize that the delay in payments usually isn't because clients don't want to pay, but because the invoice just got buried in a messy inbox.
Since the emails stop as soon as it's marked as paid, are you planning to add integrations with platforms like Stripe or PayPal so that status update happens automatically?
Probably
That "debt collector" mental shift is exactly what kills productivity because it’s hard to get back into a creative flow after sending awkward follow-ups. Automating that bridge makes perfect sense since most clients just need that gentle nudge to pull the invoice back to the top of their inbox.
If you do go the integration route, it would turn the tool from a reminder service into a full "set it and forget it" revenue recovery system. By the way I work in digital PR and media placements so I see how much authority a brand gains when they solve these high-friction administrative pains for pros. That level of automation is a huge selling point for scaling.
Are you thinking about starting with Stripe first since it's the most common for freelancers or looking at a broader API approach?
Yes, if I do that kind of integration I would probably start with stripe. Would probably be the cleanest in terms of a simple integration with the code base as well.
Still loving the 'set-and-forget' vision for InvoiceWatchr! Whenever you're ready to tackle that Stripe integration or look into some PR for the launch, I'm here to help. Good luck with the build!
Stripe is definitely the way to go for the first integration. It would make the 'set and forget' promise 10x stronger for users.
From a PR angle, position this as 'The End of the Awkward Debt Collector Phase for Freelancers.' I've seen stories like this get a lot of traction on platforms like Product Hunt and tech blogs because it solves a universal pain point.
If you ever want to brainstorm how to position this for a bigger launch or need some thoughts on the PR side, feel free to reach out at mumerumar5@gmail.com.
Keep up the great work!
