The automated workflow for accountants handling bank data

April 20, 2026 I built a tool to automate bank statements for accountants. Looking for beta testers!

Hi Indie Hackers!

I'm a software developer from Argentina and I just launched the beta for Pdfin.

The Problem: I saw how much time accountants (and business owners) waste manually transcribing data from bank PDFs into Excel spreadsheets. It's tedious and prone to errors.

The Solution: I built an automation tool that parses these PDFs and generates structured Excel files in seconds.

The Tech Stack: I'm a big fan of the T3-style stack (or similar): I built this using Next.js, Supabase, and deployed it on Vercel. It allows me to handle the file processing and database management very efficiently.

The Goal: I’m looking for my first 5-10 users to test the platform. If you handle bank statements or know an accountant who does, I’d love for you to try it out.

I’m specifically looking for feedback on:

  1. Is the conversion accuracy what you'd expect?

  2. What other bank formats should I prioritize?

You can check it out here: https://www.pdfin.app

Happy to answer any questions about the implementation or the project!

About

I built Pdfin because I noticed a massive bottleneck in the accounting workflow: the manual transcription of bank statements. Most accountants spend hours every month manually moving data from PDFs into spreadsheets.
