PDFs Split & Merge
Split and Merge PDF Documents on macOS and iOS
Users from around the world are using PDFs Split & Merge and integrating the app in their workflows. We are working on bringing more features and a redesign is possibly on the cards.
Happy to report these modest numbers 😊.
Learnings so far:
No project or tool is big or small, put it out there sooner than later and get feedback and iterate.
Provide the best customer support experience possible.
Add delight to one's product, a small animation or sound, goes a long way and these moments stick with the user.

We had to re-imagine the way we bring PDF SM on iOS, rather than just building a macOS port of the product, we had no access to filesystem on iOS like on macOS, but Files App and associated APIs solved the problem and PDF SM for iOS was launched on March 2019.

Started coding over a weekend, and had the app working quite well by Sunday, did the launch prep work, screenshots, app descriptions and release notes to name a few. submitted the app for review to App Store and released the app on the first day of WWDC 2018 ;)

A friend and me were chatting about how hard it is to split / merge a large PDF file using tools online or existing tools on macOS. We asked ourselves, why don't we try to build a tool ourselves to solve this, and this is how PDFs Split & Merge came to be.

Could not find an intuitive and a simple way to split / merge large PDF files on macOS and iOS, hence PDF Split & Merge was born on macOS and iOS. macOS http://apple.co/2M1hlcc | iOS http://apple.co/2LZpcaa
