Crossed $1K in MRR
Personal Discount has finally crossed $1000 in monthly recurring revenue! After a few months of stagnation August brought us a remarkable increase (+20% month to month). It's also a 10x increase comparing to August last year.
What did I change?
- A slight adjustment of pricing - lowered the price for the Standard plan and increased the Pro plan.
- Minor changes to the email notifications about approaching and exceeding the Free plan limit (from field, sending times).
- Added email notifications about approaching and exceeding the Standard plan limit.

Shopify has launched the new design of their App Store and Personal Discount is finally listed there

App approved by Shopify
Personal Discount has been approved by Shopify. However, it's still not visible in their App Store because they are transitioning to a new version.

First merchant decides to pay for a subscription ($5/month). Payments are handled by Shopify and they take 20%.

What would you say your biggest marketing channel is?
The Shopify App Store is definitely our biggest marketing/distribution channel. It was hard to get listed there, but now it brings us a continuous stream of new users.
