My personal YouTube channel, devoted mostly to web dev
For a long time, I haven't considered my YouTube channel to be a real side project. Why? For one, YouTube feels really crowded. Second, I haven't felt my videos are any good and I'm nowhere near being able to get any AdSense revenue (1K subs). Third, it hasn't felt like a classic IH-style project--I've had the hope that an app or site I built is what ends up getting traction for me.
However, I've realized after a few false starts this year that YouTube is probably the thing I'm most interested in and having the most fun doing right now. So, I decided to go ahead and make a product page for it here on IH and pursue it with a bit more discipline.
Currently, I'm taking @AliAbdaal's Skillshare course on video editing with Final Cut Pro, and even though I'm still just using iMovie, it's already making me way more efficient and is helping the quality of my videos. Onward!
