We processed all ~1000 of our orders from Kickstarter through a Shopify store, set up with Bulk Discount codes and a Klaviyo email campaign.
This fed a Zapier spreadsheet which also served as an early version of our workflow for the artworking side of our business.
Launched on Kickstarter
We launched our product on Kickstarter. We passed our goal 5 days later.
We were hustling very hard through this period, and started receiving press around day 4 and 5 (on Australian TV).
From there, we went viral on Facebook (coverage from Mashable, Yahoo, AOL, Lad Bible, Unilad, George Takei etc) and got around 50M views on various edits of our video.
