As a parent, I just wanted to buy safe products for my kids. But every time I looked into the items we used daily—cookware, rain jackets, even dental floss—I kept running into one disturbing pattern: PFAS. These so-called "forever chemicals" were everywhere, and the more I learned, the more concerned I became.

What made it worse? There was no clear way to shop PFAS-free. The information was fragmented—buried in nonprofit reports, academic papers, and scattered blog posts. There was no single trusted site that made it easy to find safe, verified alternatives.

Each week brought a new wave of anxiety. I'd read a headline about toxic chemicals in water filters or mascara, then spend hours researching alternatives—only to end up more confused than when I started. "PFOA-free" didn’t always mean PFAS-free. “Non-toxic” didn’t always mean safe. The labels were inconsistent, and the data was hard to find.

As a dad trying to protect my family, I realized this wasn’t just my problem. It was every parent’s problem. And the solution needed to be simple, accessible, and credible.

That’s why I built PFAS Free Life—a practical, growing resource to help families find verified PFAS-free products with confidence. We're starting with the categories that matter most: cookware, personal care, water filters, dental products, and apparel. Every product in our database is reviewed for real PFAS safety, not just marketing claims.

Our mission is to cut through the confusion. We want families to shop smarter and safer—without needing a chemistry degree or hours of research.

By creating transparency and simplifying the search, we also hope to send a message to manufacturers: there is real demand for truly non-toxic products.
