Why I built PhotoGPT

Over the past year, I kept running into the same frustration:
AI image tools are powerful, but most of them feel overkill.

They’re either:

• Too complex (prompt-heavy, pro-only workflows)

• Too expensive for casual or indie users

• Or great demos, but not very practical for daily use

Most people don’t want to master Photoshop or spend time tweaking prompts. They just want to:

• Edit a photo

• Improve image quality

• Create a clean product image

• Generate visuals for social media or marketing

That’s why I started building PhotoGPT.
