Ok... most of them are from me, but I've been sending invites to specific friends and people who I've met while traveling to help get some content up.

Maybe a bit of an oversight was sending out these requests for content and review in December, when people get busy over the holidays...because to be honest I haven't gotten much confirmation that people have even visited, let alone attempted any tasks I've given them. In the new year I will follow up.

I'm hoping for 250 posts before any sort of beta launch, or public annoucement through my social media.

After many long nights, and honestly way too long - I managed to launch the alpha version of the project.

I scaled back some features including social sharing, server side rendering for now - in favor of getting content and testing out the concept.

Really looking forward to some feedback on it through this community.

After first iterating on a Wordpress site, we decided to scrap it for the second time, in favor of a more modern stack.

We arrived at at:

• Front-end framework : React (through CRA)
• Back-end: Firebase Firestore
• Auth: Firebase Auth
• Image storage and processing: Cloudinary.
