Pi Reminder
Task management and Reminder app
Today I released the premium features (Pi Reminder Plus) on which I was working from quite some time.
I decided to use stripe as a payment gateway after doing lot of research. Good that they launched in India recently.
There are 2 pricing model, 2.99$/month and 23.88/year.
The plus version include following features:
- Ad Free
- Print your task list
- All attachments (upto 10)
- Theme Choice
- Email Reminders
- Save reminders as Draft
Will keep adding more premium features from now :)
To make the app available on multi platform. Developed the web version and chrome extension for it. Both used the same code base written in simple html + js/jquery + css
The backend is written in php with slim framework for the APIs.
The code is hosted on digital ocean.
I came up with this idea when I was doing my day job as a software engineer with 2 year of experience. I thought it would be so cool if I can send reminders to my friends. So created a simple android app to achieve this.
I kept the app free and slowly keeps on adding many new advanced features based on user's feedback.
