PianoML
Piano · Practice · Progress
Music remains one of the most powerful forces for harmony and peace in our societies. In an era that too often celebrates individualism, I am pleased to share a tool I have developed for my own musical practice and for three of my five young sons.
I am proud to introduce PianoML.org, a free, open-source piano practice application that connects directly to your MIDI keyboard through a web browser.
The application helps beginner musicians maintain consistent progress between formal lessons. Each week, it suggests specific scales and arpeggios to practice, offering several targeted exercises for each, complete with metronome support and proper fingering guidance.
Users can also upload their own MIDI, MusicXML, or PDF files, which are automatically converted into interactive sheet music. You may then practice by playing along with the computer or use the intelligent waiting mode to focus on the right hand, left hand, or both hands together. Any section of the piece can be looped for focused repetition.
PianoML is entirely free, contains no advertisements, requires no account or registration, and is fully open-source. I warmly invite you to explore the application and would genuinely appreciate your feedback.

When I started mentoring my sons on learning Piano I couldn't find an affordable app that let you bring your own score
