Pic.Hance

Kinda crazy to think we have that many sign ups. Of course i ultimately comes down to how many are paying (not many) and how much fo the traffic is genuine. We get lots of traffic from Russia which may or may not be a bad thing.

But still gotta flex a vanity metric when you can. :)

Woo! Launched a super cool new feature on Pic.Hance! Now you can turn your photos into art!

This can open up so many new possibilities such as generating ideas for your art store, creating cool looking print on demand shirts, mugs or other items, or just having fun sharing your animated photos with your friends and family.

Today over 5000 people have signed up to use our product. We only have a handful of customers...but still it feels like we did something right.

Now the challenge is to find the group that actually wants to pay for this! But that part seems the most difficult.

Just got the email from Stripe! Someone subscribed to Pic.Hance. This is our first customer and it happened barely 24 hours after we integrated payment functionality into the app.

It's only 4.99 a month but it's a huge step because it's validating the idea. Someone paid us money over the internet. Wooooo!

After a healthy start on Product Hunt we were up to 500 sign ups and then things predictably started tapering off.

But all of a sudden we started getting a lot of Eastern European/Russian traffic. Not sure what (or even if that is a good thing) but we crossed the 1000 sign up mark and are inching towards 2000.
