PicoSpace Theme

After almost a year of development and testing, we managed to reach the first stable version of the PicoSpace theme.

We're proud of it as it dominates a different universe than our flagship theme (GrandSpace).

Those users who like minimalism can, at last, have a fully functional modern, accessible, and blazingly fast theme without being limited in any way. They can use their favorite builder including Beaver Themer and Elementor Theme Builder to construct every single part of their pages from the header to footer.

In addition to that, the end-users who like to use the built-in blocks editor of WordPress (Gutenberg) can also use it as it works out-of-box and has all the right features the user needs to build his website.

We have released it to the public on the 24th of June 2019 as a featured product in our own WordPress marketplace.

After working as a team in the WordPress industry for over 7 years, we found that minimalism comes at a cost. When a theme is minimal, lightweight and fast, it usually lacks the features you need to build your imaginable website. How can you create something minimal as a core without limiting its potential for end users (not developers of course)?

End users can't code and they don't know how to customize their website. If the WordPress theme is not providing them with the options they need, they won't be able to put their imagination in action.

The solution to this problem is to build a lightweight minimal base that fully supports page builders in a way that you can create all parts of your websites using your favourite page builder. At the same time, the theme should work out-of-box with all the features a user may need even if he does not wish to use any builder. The theme also needs to be valid, responsive, and fully accessible.

Mixing all that up served as the ignition of the PicoSpace theme. The theme that we needed to satisfy all these requirements.
