Hi everyone 👋
We've just launched Pincone, our bookmarking product, on Product Hunt! 🚀
This time, it's our newest feature – inboxes.
Inboxes are a one-stop shop for saving and reading your favorite newsletters without cluttering up your email.
But, more about it here – https://www.producthunt.com/posts/pincone-inboxes.
If you can, show some love, we’d really appreciate it. 🫶

We have been toying with the idea of launching on Product Hunt ever since we created Pincone. But, we knew it was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing and we were set on doing it right.
For a few months, we worked on creating a video that would represent Pincone, making screens of the Pincone web app, writing, deleting, and rewriting catchy taglines, and so on and so forth.
All of this culminated in our first PH launch! 🎊

We would love to hear any feedback you might have!

🧳 We improved our onboarding experience! We're preparing to launch Pincone on ProductHunt this week, so we're hopeful we'll be able to bring Pincone into the hands of more people. This was the perfect time to improve our onboarding experience. We've also added email verification to prevent spam accounts.
📱 Around half of our visitors engage with Pincone from their phones, which is why we decided to make some small, but vital improvements to what Pincone looks like on smaller devices.

A very sweet milestone for us – we have five teams that pay for Pincone. This means we have five teams that have 4 users or more.
We may know some of our paying teams (👀) but this update is still a sweet one! 🍬
Since Pincone is a side project and we don't spend as much time on it as we should or would like to, this a big deal!

🔎 We recently shipped the ability to quickly switch between feeds, categories, and labels. It's a nice way to easily make your way through Pincone. When it came time to redesign search, we took some cues from the "Jump" feature. You can now get to the new search box by tapping on Search in the left-hand sidebar or pressing / on your keyboard.

You can choose to use Pincone by yourself or with a team. We have reached 50 teams and Pincone accounts that are not just personal.
Thanks to everyone who loved Pincone enough to use it with a team, we hope you're getting the most out of your team feature! 🎊

📰 It has always been our idea for Pincone to serve not just as a place to store and share content, but to discover new content as well. Today, we are launching feeds. Feeds are a great way to keep in touch with your favorite sources from all around the web.
Alongside your categories, you now have a dedicated section for all of your or your teams’ feeds. Just grab the RSS or Atom link of the feed you want to add, give it a name and you’re good to go.
Feeds that you add to a team are visible to all the members of that team.
When you’re setting up the feed, you can choose to either start fresh or grab the existing content from that feed.

🤖 Ever wondered how nice it would be if labels were automatically generated for your links so you didn’t have to write them? Labels are great for adding context to things, grouping content, and making content easily searchable. That’s why we decided to give it a shot and implement auto-labeling of links in Pincone with a little bit of Natural Language Processing.

🌘 For those times when you don’t want to stare at an extremely bright screen, we added support for dark mode to Pincone.
🗺 A few of you have asked us for details on some future improvements and features on Pincone.
For the sake of transparency, we decided to make our roadmap public so you know what’s being worked on at the moment and what’s coming down the road.

💬 From our first ideas on what Pincone is and what lies in the future, collaboration with others was always the top item on our list. Our latest release goes a long way towards that goal. We've now added the ability to comment on links.
🏷 You are now able to tap on any label you find interesting and you will be taken to a specific page for that label. For example, if you click on the music label, Pincone will show you any link labeled with music, across a team or your Personal Pincone.

About
Pincone was originally created to give our team a space to collaborate, organize and share interesting blogs and links from around the internet. Over time, we decided to turn it into a free tool. :)
