Pingweb.cat
Simple uptime monitoring for websites — built in Catalan.
Hey everyone
I’m building PingWeb.cat, a simple uptime monitoring tool made for freelancers and small businesses — especially those who work with WordPress sites.
Right now there’s a free plan that lets you monitor one website and get email alerts if it goes down. It’s small and independent, built because I needed it myself.
We currently have 14 active users — growing slowly but learning a lot. It’s always humbling to see how challenging it is to reach people, even with a product that solves a real problem.
I recently added a blog with articles about uptime, SEO, and reliability — written in Catalan, with plans to translate them into other languages later. The goal is to help small businesses understand why uptime really matters.
Next steps:
Focus on improving user onboarding
Add more alert options (like SMS )
Keep improving stability and simplicity
If you’ve built or launched something similar, I’d love to hear how you reached your first users
