Pin and organize important ChatGPT messages in a sidebar
I've been using ChatGPT heavily for coding and writing.
One problem kept happening: useful answers get buried inside long conversations.
I would remember something like
"ChatGPT explained this really well earlier..."
But then I'd spend minutes scrolling through the thread trying to find it again.
So I built a small Chrome extension called pinitgpt.
It lets you pin important ChatGPT messages and view them in a sidebar so you can jump back instantly.
It's a small tool, but it has already saved me a lot of time.
I'm still exploring what features people actually need most.

Right now pinitgpt is still pretty early.
I'm mainly trying to understand how people actually work with long ChatGPT threads.
Some questions I'm curious about:
• Do you start new chats to keep things organized?
• Do you copy useful answers somewhere (Notion / docs)?
• Or do you just rely on search and scrolling?
Trying to figure out what workflow people actually use.
